How long does the Polar ESS warranty last?

5 years, with a design life of >10 years under standard usage. Make sure you’ve registered your product and activated your 5-year warranty – it only takes a jiffy.

What technology is used to produce your batteries?

LiFePO4. (A.k.a., the premium stuff.) Our batteries may be affordable, but we’ve spent where it really matters – such as on the best LiFePO4 tech – and saved when it comes to excess bells and whistles.

Can I add a battery to an existing solar array?

You sure can, yup. It’s highly recommended, as it’ll mean you can save the sun’s lovely free energy for use in the evenings. (When energy is generally dirtiest and costliest.)

Do I need solar to get a Polar ESS battery system?

Absolutely not. You can still store lots of clean, cheap energy for later use even without solar. Here, you just take advantage of off-peak charging through a smart energy tariff.

Can I scale my Polar ESS system?

You can have multiple batteries and inverters – no problem. The system is designed to support parallel operations, so you can scale as you like.

How can I become a Polar ESS installer?

If you’re a qualified electrician, you’re already all good to go. Our energy storage systems are that easy to fit that you don’t need any extra training to install them. Just follow the simple installation guide and safety precautions and you’re set.

Can I install a Polar ESS system myself?

A qualified electrician should install the Polar ESS system. Batteries must be installed and handled with great care, so leave it to the pros.

Can I contact Polar ESS if I have an installation question?

Of course – pop us an email and we’ll look right into your query.

How do I buy Polar ESS kit?
